I have to clean the fridge tonight, before that stuff growing at the bottom of the vegetable crisper learns how to walk.
I have three shelves of small jars of various things I use from time to time. I have to keep cycling them back to front or I forget what I have. I do know that I have two cans of shortening. I only require one of those.
Can anybody use an unopened half pint of Jalapeno Jelly?
I also found a half-used bag of onion bagels with a March expiration date. Can you believe they show absolutely no mold, fungus or discoloration???
My fridge door is a collection of condiments. I have two Teriyaki bottles, two Worchestershire Sauce bottles and two jars of Stadium mustard. There are five other types of mustard. I found a bottle of some kind of marinade without a label. What ever happened to the label?
Beer. I don't drink much beer. I bought a ton before my niece visited in July because she likes beer. There are still 13 bottles of beer in there, all 'real' beers, of course, not that ghastly light stuff they make that tastes like formaldehyde. I suppose I should start drinking it. I do need to make room for more casserole leftovers. There are only two on that shelf so far.
Celery stinks up the fridge. They only sell it in huge bunches and I don't eat that much. I chop it and use it in stews, soups, etc. I wrap it up for the fridge but it always goes 'off' and smells up the inside. I wish I knew a store where they sold celery by the stalk.
How long can you keep eggs in the fridge?
Something in a bag looks as if it may have begun life as a burrito. It has evolved.
Thank goodness for Clorox Cleanup!
