20 Days ...

...until Autumn? Maybe. Our Spring began the last day of February this year and Summer was from mid-May until...?

Rained a bid last night. No thunder or lightning. A slight rain off and on today so far. It is far too late to save the corn and I doubt the soybean harvest will be a happy thing, but at least this may help the dry wells and water table.

The Arctic sea ice hit its smallest expanse since they began keeping records.

I used my Kroger points again last day of the month to buy gasoline there. I bought a gift card (for myself) at Kroger in the month that I got the points. I got quadruple points for the gift card. Adding that to my points allowed me to pay $3.21 a gallon and the pump price was $3.91.

Sheer genius.

Keep it coming, Kroger.

Pretty crafty. However, I figure with the money I save shopping at Aldi pays for the gas.

I but myself gift cards for Starbucks once in a while. I don't drink coffee but I like their cocoa and cider and tea. Then much later, when I use the card, it is like a surprise present.

we have redner's here that gives 10 cents off a gallon for every hundred spent. I up to 30 cents off and need to fill up tomorrow. quite a nice little benefit

I wish we had a Kroger store here, not that we spend a lot on gas because
everything is within a mile or two of us. So nice after living 20 miles
from town.

That's a nice savings. I hope gas prices go down again soon.

We have something similar here Jon, the store here (Price Chopper) gives you .10 per gallon of gas for every $100.00 you spend. It use to be for every $50.00 but a few months ago they upped it..must be it was getting too popular.

You are truly the master of eking out a living under duress.
