I started a 14x11 inch canvas at 7:20am this morning and finished it at Noon. That's how I want to paint! Every stroke was perfect. Not many come together that way. It is in my "new" style.

When I get it varnished and can find any sunlight I will photo it and post it for you.

Send Lynniesouffle your regards for her leg. She is having after-trouble with the surgery.

Hope the snow passed you by. The cold won't, however. Arthritis in my thumb is aggravating. I drop a lot of things due to the sudden pain. I could never hold a paint brush. Can't even hold a pencil. Paint on, my Buckeye friend.

Thanks for the heads up. I looked at the blog of your friend that you mentioned on facebook, the one who just found out she has cancer; very interesting reading as the story unfolds.

Thank you for mentioning Lynnette, she has had a tremendous amount of misfortune with her injury and now this! I spoke to her on the phone last evening (it may, have been the evening before - the days are rolling into one here). She was describing the knee to me - I had a feeling an infection was setting in.
How are you now Jon? - I do so hope you are over the worst

Slow recovery in progress. I feel like painting again and that helps. My body is wracked with arthritis pains, too, and I do NOT look forward to heavy-duty antibiotics again.
