Love chicken and asparagus both, never thought of combining them!
It looks great and would be a different chicken dish.
AHA ! ASPARAGUS wondered what the sparrow grass was
Sure looks good! A picture is worth a thousand words!
Oh does that look good! What are capers? Can you sub anything for the pesto sauce? My mother doesn't like it. Thanks for the recipe - even if I have to save it for a future date, I'm going to try it.
Very interesting ... seems not complicated to make. I will check Ed on the mustard. If he's in, I'm doing it. It sounds delicious.
That's German for 'Asparagus.' Brown breasts first, both sides. Mix whatever mustards you have on your fridge door. I used brown mustard, stadium mustard and French's yellow crap. Added two Tablespoons each of capers and pesto sauce. Stir well. Make about a half cup to 3/4 cup. Brush on chicken, cooking both sides twice and keep brushing it on. Asparagus is simply cut and tossed between breasts in the skillet. Oh... you do this in a skillet on butter and olive oil.
