A Minority Of One

Frankenstein Ball Players ...

The more chatter I hear on ESPN and Fox Sports, the angrier I get about the Baseball drug and steroid scandals.

It is high time for MLB to bring this all to an end. It has been going on for a decade now and they still can't seem to rid the sport of this Hell, this ruination of the integrity of the blessed game.

The Commissioner's office should immediately come forward with the evidence against the abusers and take some final steps to end it. Until that happens you will see speculation, lawsuits, denials, excuses and more chatter.

1. Whatever the league has to back up their claims that Biogenesis and some players cheated the sport and the fans must be made public.

2. All baseball players who can be proven to have conspired with Biogenesis to use HGH or other body enhancement drugs and/or steroids must be banned for life from the sport.

3. All existing contracts between teams and those players must be terminated, without any further pay.

4. All players who used HGH and other body-enhancing or strength improving drugs should never be eligible for induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

The integrity of the game is at stake. It must be done and done now!

If Ryan Braun starts for the Brewers next April, which is his plan, the first pitch he will get from the mound will be aimed squarely at his head. The players are very very angry.

Bud Selig is no Bart Giamatti.

So right Jon. I got interested in baseball when I had a child in little league. They need heroes not slimy cheaters.

Drug scandals seem to be all over the world , we have had a few cases over the years , this year its an AFL league football club, one of the most successful.
The club has admitted for letting players being injected with an enhancing drug last year , even the coach, League management are still considering what to do , suspension of all involved should happen , but as usual BIG money involved

There is so much money involved, that any change will be agonizing and exceedingly slow. It is what it is.

They let Ryan Braun, the 'Lance Armstrong' of Baseball, off much to light. He got suspended for the remainder of this season - 65 games - instead of the league policy of a 100 game suspension. He lied to us all, his teammates, his fans, the country, when he claimed in February of last year that he never used HGH. He did and yesterday 'apologized' and took his medicine of a 65 game suspension. He hurt the game and should never be allowed to play again. He is a liar, a cheater and a tweaker. baseball needs heroes for the kids who grow up watching and playing the game. It doesn't need lying Frankensteins.
