It began to snow last night. The forecast was for seven to eight inches by late tonight. This morning at 6:30 a.m. I took these photos while the snow was still on the trees. The wind later this morning will dust it off. I measured six and a half inches already. We are in a lull now, waiting for the second part of the storm. The county and most other areas in northern Ohio are under Level Two. That means emergency road travel only. If it goes to Level Three you can be arrested for driving on rural roads and highways. All schools are closed for today and some businesses and manufacturers.
The top photo is the tree near the street in front of my house.
The bottom photo is looking uphill from my front porch. We expect an additional 4 or 5 inches of new snow. The wind will pick up today, so driving in the open countryside will be a bad idea.
