Dokter Place Day ...

Today is 'Dokter Place' Day (Hobbie's spelling) for little Sparky. 9:40 a.m. appointment. His fellow, Sessie, will have to wait for her visit because I cannot snare her. Meanwhile, I can't feed either of them until I have Sparky in the travel bag for the drive over to the Vet. They don't want the cats to eat for many hours before surgery.

He will get his inoculations (The Ohio laws require Rabies for one, but he will also get another which I believe is a respiratory illness shot) and his awful stinky black ears cleaned, and, of course, his manhood removed.

Right now they are begging at the back door for breakfast.

I'm not much of a cat woman....but those are some pretty cats! Honestly, I don't mind them so much at other people's houses....just don't want any of my own. I LOVE dogs, but am past wanting to have one around to take care of all the time. I really love my freedom to do as I please, when I please. Hope all went well with the trip to the vet!

our amimals (dogs and cats) always seem to know when it was time. it got to the point where we had to spell V-E-T in front of them so they wouldn't run for the hills.

Such delightful kitties. We're going to adopt some this summer some time. Right now, Mr. YouKnow doesn't want to talk about cats because he misses Buddy.

It's a process when one can eat and the other can't. Can't do it in separate rooms--too loud, so the one who isn't supposed to eat gets 3 kibbles or a piece of lettuce... just so he thinks he's getting something too. LOL They know what's fair, but they can't judge quantity very well!

FAIL. Sparky is nowhere to be found. Passed the appointment time, so I called the Vet and rescheduled for 8a.m. tomorrow.
