My Baseball All-stars ...

I haven't voted my 25 times as of today, but I'm compiling my All-Stars list for the American League. I have voted only a couple times because it is boring to keep clicking on the same names.

Catcher: Mauer (Twins)
Pitcher, even though we don't get to vote for a pitcher: Cliff Lee (Indians. He's 10-1 and Sabbathia is still in the losing column.)
1st Base: Kevin Youklis (Red Sox)
2nd Base: Polanco?
Shortstop: Izturis (Angels)
3rd Base: Casey Blake (Indians) but maybe Mike Lowell (Red Sox)
Outfielders: Grady Sizemore, Germaine Dye (White Sox) and Manny Ramirez (Red Sox... only because it wouldn't be an All-Star game without Mannyball)

DH: Pappy Ortiz (Red Sox - whatever_)
I never cast votes for the National League because I only get to watch those teams during interleague play.

good selections although I don't follow the American league much except as you stated, in interleague play. I always thought Manny Ramirez was a big doofus but I do like C.C. and Big Pappi.

reguards
yer I vote for the entire Dodger team for the All Stars pal

I was excited when the All-Stars game came to Denver several years ago, but it was miserable to watch on TV because of the drone of the advertising airplanes flying over the stadium; the network didn't seem to be able to filter that out.

Oops! I didn't choose a single Yankee! Oh my.

My hubby's first game was Mickey Mantle and the Yankee opener that year! I went to a Yankee Game as well and I loved it.Something about being there to watch baseball really is exciting.

Wish I could help, but I'm stuck in the days of Sandy Koufax and Maury Wills.

I don't know much about the American League. My memories are stuck with
the New York Mets in the 60s. I wonder where those guys are now.
