I think I remember the weather conditions and plant progress from one year to the next but I am usually mistaken. I am well aware of the fallacies of memory, but I guess that only applies to others. Then fb shows me a pic of a March blizzard or red tomatoes from a previous year when I think green ones are ahead of schedule. There is no reason to ponder such things, I know that too.
I have the opportunity to get the J&J but Donna doesn't want me to have it until she can get it. It this point she'll have to wait until her birthday in September. Hopefully more will become available to the younger ones before then. I'm actually having second thought about waiting for J&J but she has to come to the same conclusion. We'll see. Maybe your immune system needed a few extra hours to get in gear. Happy for you that you didn't have any side effects!
Sounds like a lot of work! I'd be happy if Donna cleaned up her clutter in the living room. Her craft room is a different story. I gave her one of those small desktop personal heater for Christmas in 2018 and she forgot she has it. I had to show her the order in Amazon history, but it still can't be found and she won't let me in there to "help". So if Ted won't let you into his studio maybe you can forget about it.
Morning Edition (NPR) had two very interesting and informative segments today: The amount of electricity used for bitcoin mining is equivalent to the usage by the entire country of Argentine. But the valuable info is the reward. This part I don't quite get, but it involves the correct sequences and then guessing a right number. The system makes it harder to guess the correct number proportional to the amount of computers trying to do it. But when you get it right you get a bitcoin to register and you know the current value. This activity somehow keeps the system honest and I don't get that part either. 2. The guy who bought and resold the 10 second digital video has had the honor of owning the original even tho copies are available to view for free online. Much the same as owning a copy of a physical painting. It's only the original that has great value.
Dining out is something I've never became accustomed to but it looks like fun when somebody else is telling the story. I tried to get my cheese steak and o-ring takeout the other evening but the cook didn't show up for work and I was screwed. They usually post on fb when something isn't right, so maybe I missed it.
That begins to explain bitcoin mining and the high cost in electricity to mine them. Sounds like these mining computer are searching somewhere for these combinations that haven't been registered (or something)?
I tried to open that two ways in firefox and it couldn't be found. Maybe I didn't do it right? This stuff is beyond me. I listened to 1 40-minute segment about bitcoin on 1A (NPR) the other day and still don't understand all the basics; like why is it a finite quantity like gold? Now you hit us with this and my brain is crying in pain! LOL maybe it's good that I'm old.
Very positive post (except for the back pain) and not a mention of Covid! Haven't had a Nathan's since probably when I lived downstate >> 40 years ago. Now I'm hungry!
You are most definitely of sound mind. I wouldn't know your age based on your communications. I think it's a gender thing, but I don't think I look as old as I am. There's a joke that says guy A sees a guy B who he went to high school with. A goes up to B and says, "You were in my class in high school". B says, "What did you teach?" It's not my fault I feel like I'm 35 from the knees up. You are still my rile model for aging along with Martin. Hang in!
You old bastards have such class. I'd settle for watching the college gurls at McDonald's on Friday night.
I still have my spark plug gapper in the upper left hand drawer of my desk where it's been for 25 years or more. Those things aren't usually needed any longer and I'd never find it again if I moved it after all this time.
I was happy with my 160 back when body parts all worked together. Mr Troutbend would have been viewed as a bowling god.
Chocolate? That deadly stuff. Yes, even dark chocolate.
So what is your thought about this?
Business as usual here. Donna has as much interest in sports as I do and I don't watch TV as a rule so I probably won't see the Puppy Bowl either.
