One can dread or embrace it, it is up to you. I am dreading it as it puts an end to all conversation at my house. I have no delicious super bowl snacks to look forward to and Jose and I are definitely not interested in the outcome. We have had a feline visitor the last couple of days. He has been hanging out on the back porch. I left food out and made him a box with a warm afghan in it but he has not been in it although the food is gone. Since my house faces a baseball diamond in the back, there is a lot of wild life out there. We caught a young opossum once and turned him loose. The baseball diamond belongs to a private Lutheran school. It is fun to watch the baseball games, especially T ball with children who are little more than toddlers and are often confused about the rules. Back to the handsome black cat who visits. I would like to make him a permanent resident if he is homeless. It is hard to tell with cats since they sometimes decide to adopt new owners. Ted saw him stalking something in the back yard and said that he looks too healthy to be homeless. It is going to be very cold here for the next few days. I am praying to the household gods that the hot water heater makes it through temps that will go down to 6 above zero. Some fool remodeler put it in the attic.
