First Annual MyBloggerstown Yard Sale

It's that time of year again! The local Humane Society is holding its annual rummage sale, so I've been scouring the house for donatable items of suitable quality to benefit the furkids! I came up with a few items that were worth donating, and I also came up with these treasures which are best sold on the open market. So I'm setting up my table in MyBloggerstown and offering you guys first pick of this um... stuff.

First item is this lovely....ah.... it's lovely, whatever it is! And it can be yours if the price is right!

Next is this beautiful cactus! It has a few broken petals on the flowers, but it's good for something (yeah, right)!

Now, here's an item that everyone can use! I say that because even if you're a guitar player, you won't be playing this one. It's strictly decorative!

Now ladies, and some of you gentlemen... Tell me you can pass up this beautiful candle (never been burned either)! It belongs to Donna, but she's willing to part with it. She's asking for big bucks, but let's face it, it's pink! That adds a lot to its value, doesn't it?

Last but not least, and I'll be honest here, I could probably get a better price on ebay; here are the teeth I had removed to make way for my partial denture. They have some damage to the roots, but no serious decay. They are good for years more service in the right mouth! Implants, anyone?

If all this stuff sells really fast I'll bring out some more (Ok, I won't). See anything you like? Make me an offer, and make it high! And as always, have a nice day.....

Hey now, I'd give ya ten bucks for that candle. I can pro'ly play that particular guitar as well as I can the one I have that has got strings. And it would get less complaints from the other tennents and less howlings from the neighbor's dogs

I learned a long time ago never to throw anything away. We were having a garage sale one year; before it started, I threw a bunch of stuff in our trash that I didn't even think was decent enough for a yard sale. People went by the droves to our trash and carried things off. As they say, "One man's trash is another man's treasure." That guitar looks as though a new set of strings would have it up and strumming in no time! I'll bet you get takers on it. Now, about that "pink candle"......

seriously though, what is wrong with the guitar? I sold mine to pay a vet bill.

I love a good yard sale....but I am sure you would regret parting with any of these priceless treasures. Besides you never know when someone will come up behind you and say."Give me a cactus with broken flower petals or it's your life!"
You want to be prepared don't you?
