No one is getting married. The title just fits.
Well, I might finally be able to get a mortgage on our house at 3% interest. These are recordbreaking rates and I'm so anxious to know if we'll be approved. The process has become much more difficult and complicated in recent years. We're working with a wonderful banker who seems to be genuinely interested in our success.
Something new! I bought Jennifer a Taurus TCP .380 pistol on Saturday. I just happened to notice two lavender colored pistols and called her on a whim to see if she wanted one. "Text me a picture of them," she said. OK, so I sent her a picture of both of them, effectively cropping out the price tag (as a little test). I told the man behind the counter, "Watch this. She'll pick the most expensive one without even seeing the price tag." Sure enough, "I like the first one!" She replied. Fully seventy dollars more expensive than the other one, but she's worth it. So, I bought it on the spot. We both have our concealed carry license and have all the appropriate training and practice. We probably won't be among the small percentage of the population that chooses to "open carry" when the new law goes into effect on November 1. In fact, I'm positive we won't.
Can you guess which one she picked?
Something old...
I've enjoyed reading everyone's posts. Well, not everyone's, but the few regulars I read every day. And I DO read them every day. I've kind of decided to add my little stream of drivel to the collection on a more regular basis.
Something blue...
The color of my Sofie's eyes and I love her with all my heart.
