Cute little lambs!
I've seen a couple Paul Newman films because my Mom's a huge fan of his, but personally I really only liked him in Cool Hand Luke. I think its pretty awesome that he used to race cars.

So sorry to hear what happened to your son. Glad the guy is in jail - its not right that his family is now harassing you. How can his family be so heartless. Your son really is a brave kid.

My parents used to invite parish priests and a nun into our home when I was really little. I only have good memories of them. But, I am so glad Pope Benedict is retiring, mostly because I don't like him as either a Pope or as a person. I'm hoping that the new Pope elected will be more progressive, unbiased, and finally bring Rome into the 21st Century! I'm so sick of the Pope's stance on contraceptives(when there is overpopulation and AIDS which could be prevented!), anti-woman mentality, outright disgust and hate for homosexuals.

That really does sound like an excellent recipe! It may be a bit overwhelming for a new cook like me though...definitely something I'd love to try though!

Give her one of your old used sweaters or shirts to sleep with - she'll get used to your scent, and not associate you with anything negative. It works for us. Oh and do what the others have suggested: calm voice (I know, not always easy), positive reinforcement (treats, praise), and try not to be "over" her too much. Dogs that have been abused deal a lot better if you get eye level with them to put collar or leash on them. Good luck and don't give up on her!!

Sorry I'm late to this as usual, but hope Ted is feeling better. Those falls can be nasty! Glad he's OK. I hope the malamute got home safely - those dogs are always getting loose on people.

Nice review, Martin!
I had heard the music in the show was very good - always thought Elton John had something to do with it, but I'm wrong. Maybe that's because he seems to be "in" on most of the newer productions like Billy Elliot (my fave).
