Good Humpday, MyBloggerstown:
It snowed a little today...the snow we were 'asposed to get yesterday. Its not much, just enough to make a mess of things.
I went out to eat yesterday with family to celebrate niece Jethrene's 24th birthday which was on the 9th. We postponed the dinner because Jethrene has her vacation this week. We went to a local Chinese eatery called Hu Yu Bang's. The food was delish(I had the remains for breakfast this a.m.) and the ambiance in the restaurant was devine. They actually had a working fireplace which I thought was tres chic. The waitress kept bowing and was almost painfully polite. I just bet she went back to the kitchen and poked fun of us to the cooks.
Waitress:( in Chinese) "Hey Wang, get a load of those fatasses at table 3.
Wang:(sneeking a peek) "Holy crap! Just don't get your hands anywhere near their mouths."
Now I needed to pick up a coupla prescriptions yesterday but I forgot so I went out early today and got them before the snow hit. I don't know what's going on with my short term memory lately. I keep telling myself its just a natural component of aging but it is damn annoying. I can remember my first grade teacher (Mrs. Hughes) but I can't remember what I had for dinner yesterday.
I look out my window at the bleak landscape with its denuded trees overcast skies and snow blowing about and realise that I can't wait for summer. You won't catch me complaining about the heat. And if you buy that I have some beach property here in Cow Snot I wanna sell ya.
