WEll I think my husband and I have the actual flu. We have both been in bed since yesterday after school. It's not like him to take a day off so I know that he is really sick and that he knows how I'm feeling. I actually feel worse tonight than I did yesterday. He just went to go to the walk in clinic to see if there was something they could give him to hurry him back to feeling well enough to get out of bed and go to work. At this point I still don't feel like I could go to work tomorrow and it's stinky that I'll have to miss "me night #3" tonight. Hopefully we'll get a snow day so I can get an extra recovery day without missing another day of school. They are calling for some awful weather. 6-12" and then ice, right through till 5 p.m. tomorrow. And then unfortunately they're also predicting a bad storm for Sun into Mon and that is when we are supposed to fly out till Florida.

THe last time I was this sick, Al was sick with me too and it was when Marissa was just an infant. I remember my Mom was here to help with Marissa. Good thing the kids are a little older because we want to have minimal contact with them as to not give them this vile bug.



This morning was a nightmare. Kev was refusing to go to school and so was Marissa. Yet, she was up playing video games! So it took all the energy Al and I had to just get them each ready and a few minutes late for school.

Hopefully he'll come home from the doctor with some medicine and hopefully soon the skin all over my body will stop feeling like I have road rash from head to tow.
