If you’re under 50 you most likely won’t remember these songs. They are “One Hit Wonders†from the 60’s. They did a song –it went to the top of radio play list and that was it. Now before you yell at me of course Shelly Fabares (from the Donna Reed Show) had some other songs but this was her biggest hit.
If you are 50+ how many do you remember? I think I had most of them on 8 track.
Have fun

I'll let ya'll keep meandering down memory lane. Mine doesn't go back that far, but it sounds like ya'll had fun.
This was fun. Thanks for the memories. Do you remember Bob Hope signing off with that song. Or is it just us old old farts.
I do remember my Mama telling me about these songs.
I not only remember these songs.... I know the words from memory. My dear friend who passed away a few years ago owned the Billboard album. I used to play it all of the time. Thanks Grumpy for bringing back sooooo many good memories!
Remember them! I own that Billboard CD.
I never had an 8-track, but I did have an old Buick with the floor-pedal Wonderbar - for changing radio stations - all AM of course - before FM !!!
Ah, Grump, you really know how to tug at the ol' heartstrings. I 'amember all of those. A disco(yuck ptooee) group called Taste Of Honey did the English version of "Sukyaki" and it was wonderful. The translation isn't exact but its still a good song. Original is great too.
reguards yer also in the Old Fart club pal bugg
My dad had an 8 track player in his carHis favorite tape was Johnny Cash "Live from San Quentin"
What on EARTH is an 8 track?
I want a brave man, I want a caveman...interesting choice for a man and what kind of insturment is that in that song a gazoo? As for Johnny Angel...that was her only big hit of course and did you know Paul Peterson who played her brother also had a tune released? Great stuff grumpy..
