Me N Pablo
Me N Pablo
Bold Text
AS some of you might know or maybe figured out I am fairly conservative and a strong believer that we need to control our borders. I am not against immigrants - just the ones that don’t follow the rules to get here. But sometimes it do get personal.
Every Monday I go to the laundry mat. Well a few months ago a young Hispanic woman and her son came into the laundry mat. As she was starting her laundry her boy came over stood in front of me and just stared. I said hi-he just stared. Mom came over and got him. Well 2 minutes later he was back. 3 minutes so was Mom. I told her he was ok and not a bother.
Well Paco sat down between my legs with his sucker and a book and was a happy lil camper, looked at his book, never moved except to watch me as I did my laundry.
This became to be a habit-every Monday they would come in and Pablo (I learned his real name about week 3) would camp out at my feet not to be moved, Mom just gave up.
One Monday they came in with a older woman. When Pablo came to see me Grandma came to get him and he began to scream-Mom came running and explained to Grandma what was going on. Pablo was returned and all was well.
When I got my clothes from the dryer and began to fold them Grandma shook her head, came over pushed me away and folded my clothes for me.
I haven’t seen Pablo for a few Mondays-sure hope he and his family are well.
