Want to welcome my ole buddy Steve back. He kinda went through a bad time there but he seems to back full bore. You know he was a lawyer-so I guess God doesn’t want him and the devil is afraid if him. But that’s ok -we will keep him along with his wit an wisdom. I for one (and I know I am not alone) welcome you home. You have made some friends here.
This post is also for one of my oldest friends in the blogging world. His name is Bob or as many know him Saito. Bob and I have a long common history. We both did some growing up in Indiana, hung out at the same places and may have had some common friends. We both served in the Army during the Viet Nam era and have made our lives since. We know where the other is coming from. Bob has had eye problems-but he too is back with a vengeance. And that is a good thing. Welcome back my old friend, my brother. Some day I hope Bob and I can go to the wall together. There are goodbyes that still need to be said.
See ya

Nice
How right you are grumpy. The wall is a must do before you get too old and feeble to make it. I went in the late 80's and want to go back again.
Very nice, Grumpy. We all know there's a teddy bear under that grizzly exterior.
Hey!hey we salute you guys.We live in a safe country. Thank you both.
Many thanx, Grump. It feels great to be back among the living. It's amazing how much a sense of humor can get a person through...
You and Bob are special. I mean that in a nice way...not like you are "special" and ride a short bus or anything like that. Not "special" like people look at you all funny...but then I guess they do. Oh well. I try to say something polite and it backfires on me.
For some reason, I sometime cannot log into your blogs. Lucky today.
It's people like you and Bob that have made this country a safer place to live (salute)
very glad Steeve is back. We all worried about him. The Viet Nam era was something very different and bonded men together. Ted and I still get visits from men that were in Viet Nam during the Tet offensive with him.
