I
stopped in the office on my way home after going food shopping on
Thursday. Having the camera and the women relaxing I took a few
pictures. Top left is Lisa the head administrator of Gateway while in
the right one are Valerie and Alicia who are responsible for bringing
in newresidents and taking care of the apartments with the help of the maintenance crew.

In
the left picture is Babs, and her dog, who is the social worker for
Gateway. She takes care of the residents once they have moved in and
tells them everything they have to know and steering them in the right
direction if they need help. In the picture on the right, with Babs and
dog, in Natalie, the secretary of the residence association, who lives
in my building.

As
usual Allen and I went out for lunch on Wednesday. It has been, at
least, 30 years, if I remember correctly, since I have been  to a TGI Friday's. I had a BOGO--for you newbies that is 'buy one, get one' free--coupon so went to lunch there. Allen had a chicken salad while I had a sausage and chicken on penne plate. With his diet soda, my coffee and even the coupon it cost us
$11-12 each!!! Unfortunately I think the food and drinks were from 30
years ago!

Last,
but not least, whereas years ago South Florida had millions of palmetto
bugs they seem to have been replaced with lizards so we now have
palmetto bugs, lizards, humidity, hot weather, rain and hurricanes but
Iwouldn't leave to live anywhere else--well, maybe, Auckland, New Zealand.
