I
have a feeling you won't be surprised that I got another e-mail from
Anne but, so far, no vaccine. Now it seems I have to have my doctor fax
a prescription to the pharmacist at Walgreen's who is suppose to give
the vaccine to the nurse at the Take Care Center (a foot away) who will
vaccinate me BUT I am not to do anything until I get an e-mail or phone
call telling me exactly what to do!! If I recall right the nurse on
Wednesday said that couldn't be done that way, right Allen?

I always say, "It is the practice of medicine and they practice on us," and once again it seems that's the case. I went to my ophthalmologist on Tuesday and he gave me an ointment, called Tobadey, to put in my eyes when going to sleep which I did that evening. From the moment I woke up on Wednesday to this moment I have a very runny right nostril!! As with all medicine I checked it out on
drugs.com and it said something about pressing against the corner of
the eye near the nostril after applying the appointment which I did. I
called the doctor and his nurse said that is not a side effect but she
would talk to the doctor and get back to me. Guess what? I called 6
hours ago and I am still waiting for a call. Meanwhile I have cotton
stuffed up my nostril and won't be taking the medicine tonight!

 
It being Thursday that meant going food shopping and while in Winn
Dixie I saw this violet in the pot on the left. I have room on my
window sill and I love violets so I bought the violet as a treat to/for
myself. When I got home Ire-potted (see picture on right) the violet and put it on my sill with the 8 other flower pots I have there.

OOOOPS!! I have to go and stuff cotton up my right nostril!!!  :O)
