The
guys behind the counter took our order and though not unpleasant a
smile would have helped. It was sort of semi-service as they reached
over the counter to pass us our food and the fountain drinks were self
serve.
With the words gourmet pizza in their name maybe we made a
mistake ordering Italian dishes which were not gourmet. I had spaghetti
(only pasta available) with white clam sauce ($12.95) and though I like
my pasta al dente I don't like it hard. The clams were out of a can.
Allen's
Chicken Marsala ($12.95) was loaded with mushrooms--almost a whole
can--but the sauce tasted fine. He wanted a diet Pepsi but had to wait
10 minutes to get the empty syrup carton replaced.
The salad was good and the garlic rolls good plus hot..
There are a few tables inside but it is more of a self clean sort of situation as are the tables outside.
Having
a Groupon saved the day as we paid $15 plus a tip for a $30 check--next
time, if there is a next time, we'll go for the pizza!
