After 3 hours on the phone going back and forth I think (you never know) my heart doctor agreed to send the cardiopthorcic my report and pictures--also got the whole referral thing straightened out--so, maybe, just maybe when I get to the doctor's office at 9:15 AM (UGH!!) we can talk about my options.

Something is bothering me--I could never understand a gay person vote republican just as I don't understand saying that if Hillary (or Obama) don't get the nomination they will vote for McCain or not vote at all--both are such stupid moves!

For the first time in years I didn't go food shopping today--on Thursday--since I have to take Allen and John down to the Miami airport in the morning (we will leave my place at 4:30 AM--I just won't go to sleep until I get home) I thought I could stop at the supermarket and then pick up my clothes at the cleaners on the way home.

I have decided no more double posting by c & p my blogs here and put them on the other site--not too many people are over there and very few will comment--I think I might also unsubscribe to those who post here and there to cut my e-mail-in box down--as it is I get about 70-80 e-mails a day!!!

I forgot to mention a little shockaroo I got yesterday at my primary doctor's office when I stepped on the scale--I had put on 11 pounds in the 3-4 months since I last saw him--I told everyone here at Gateway NO MORE SWEETS--Babs has been getting me all kinds of sweets (cakes, pies, cookies, coffee cakes, etc.,) every Monday THROUGH Thursday mornings and every once in awhile Emily has baked me a cheesecake or key lime pie--so no more sweets until I lose the 11 pounds--I have sort of been playing games with my weigh-ins every Monday and Thursday and kept off getting back to being serious about the pounds--starting today, NOW, I am back on the diet!


It is funny though--as many of you know I have kept a record
of what I have weighed EVERY Monday and Thursday since March 30, 1967---I always show a weight gain in May and a loss in June--luckily I can lose weight pretty fast and the 11 pounds should be off in about 10 days.
