& 2) I've spoken previously about Broward County (home to Fort
Lauderdale) using appropriate covers for the ugly electrical and water
'boxes' that most cities have all over town. The first is one near the
riverfront center and the second is right outside the downtown garage
showing the streets and avenues of downtown and the various sights to
see. They certainly make most of making the city attractive and
colorful!
3)
The Gateway Community are known for the many Queen Crepe Myrtle trees
that bloom in May, June and July adding colorful purple blooms all over
the place. Now if they only had an aroma!

& 5) Though Fort Lauderdale is a fairly new city having been
established in 1911 but the area was inhabited by Indians for many years
previously and all over there are verify old trees in some of the
strangest places. These two are in a parking lot of a medical building!

People make fun of all the seeds I bought in March at the Dollar Tree
store. Out on the walkway I have about 5 pots with marigolds, miniature
sunflowers not to forget the beet and turnip plants I am still waiting
to produce. In any case I have a pot on the ledge in my shower window
and every once in awhile a marigold shows up like this one. Adds a smile
to the day.
And now I am off to take a drive over to the park to hear one of their summer concerts!
