Summertime in Fort Lauderdale Part 3

I'M IN THERE SOMEWHERE!

TOO
HOT OUTSIDE? YOU CAN ALWAYS COME INTO THE GATEWAY AIR-CONDITIONED
COMMUNITY ROOM FOR SOME ICE CREAM AND A MOVIE ON OUR NEW TV EVERY
FRIDAY!!

No
matter how hot it gets outside you can go to the Holiday Memorial Park
in the center of the city where veterans of all the wars are celebrated
with an auditorium, flags flying, the Parker Playhouse, playing fields
of all kinds, police horse stables, a kid's playground, running track, a
fully equipped gym, workout stations and places to relax always with a
breeze.

Along with everything else no matter how warm it gets the smokers have their spot!

Last, but not least, if it is summertime in Southern Florida it usually means an afternoon rain.

No reason--just part of the old joke. Actually, I'd love to live in a warm clime!

No that's about NYC!

Still, a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. Then again....

Why wouldn't you want to live here?

I was going to say something about the flags in the picture flying in the wind, and you mentioned it too. I can almost hear that snapping sound they make sometimes.

Being so wide open and around the Atlantic ocean with the Gulf not too far away we always have a breeze--okay, sometimes a warm--well most times--breeze but it is a breeze!
