These
pictures were taken on Labor Day and I took a walk on the south side
(the backyard) of Gateway starting on the west side near the entrance
and winding up at east side which is The Point. In comparison to
yesterday today, so far, is a beautiful sunny day though we may still
get those pesky downpours around 5-6 o'clock. I ran into Louis, head of
maintenance, riding around checking out that everything was okay.
As
I was walking along I also took pictures of the homes, and boats,
across the canal. The picture on the left is Gateway and on the right
one of the multi-million dollar homes that overlook our
backyards--aren't they lucky?!? :O)
Don't
you just want to dive into that water or sit under the tree or on the
balcony and just see what Mother Nature has brought for us to enjoy?
The one on the left is MY backyard but the catamaran on the right isn't mine. :O(
In
the right picture the apartment on the second floor to the left of the
palm tree was where I lived when I first moved here in 1999 and stayed
in that apartment until 2004 when I moved to my present apartment. This
is the longest I have stayed anywhere as I had a habit of moving every 5
years. Nice to know I have finally settled down and people said that I
never would!!!
