Today being Thursday I
went food shopping and decided I deserved a good dinner which I just finished
eating. I had a pound steak (after cutting out the T-bone), a baked potato
with shredded cheese and butter (I
didn't say healthy, I said good!) and a salad with garlic ranch dressing--that's okay, I
don't have a date later, :O)--and you do notice the diet, caffeine free, soda, don't you? (Okay, okay, so I'm
not mentioning the ice cream for later.)
If you have any doubts that we have seasons in
Florida come into a local doctor's office where you will see crowded waiting
rooms and many new patients filling out all the papers--it's snowbird season
here and every doctor is running late!!! My NET was at 1 PM and my primary at 2
PM--I left the NET at 2 PM as she still hadn't gotten to me and went to my
primary who snuck me in and was back to the NET at 2:30 and she was ready for
me!
A little worried about
some observations by the primary doctor. He wants me to go for a lung X-ray next
week though I had one a few months ago--he is worried about fluid around my
lungs and/or heart. He, also, increased my furosemide from 20mg to 40mg. He thinks
that may be reason for irregular breathing.
Next week, on the way to
the dentist to get the stitches taken out of my gums, I will stop at the
diagnostic center and get the cat scan for the NET and the lung X-ray for the
primary and pulmonary doctors, the latter which I will be on the 16th.
Looks like I am getting
caught up in doctors again BUT no more in March after the 16th--not counting the primary as I have to go
see him for coumidin checks 2-3 times
a month--I still plan on only 2
different doctors a month.
We are slowly getting back to South Florida
weather--it was a little warmer today, sunny and breezy but that breeze turns
cold/cool when the sun goes down which makes it uncomfortable on the breezeway
for our evening chats but makes it great for sleeping at night!! We are suppose
to be back in the 80s this weekend!
