The American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards® ceremony is the most glamorous night
of the Broadway season--and this year will be no exception. Dozens of stage and
screen stars* will be on hand on June 12 to perform on this year's telecast, and
to salute excellence in Broadway theatre.
Announced on June 6: Brooke Shields and Robin Williams are
added to the list!
Joining host Neil Patrick Harris to make special appearances will
be:
Daniel Radcliffe, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Whoopi Goldberg, Chris Rock, Alec
Baldwin, Samuel L. Jackson, Kelsey Grammer, Viola Davis, Vanessa Redgrave, James
Earl Jones, Harry Connick Jr., Christie Brinkley, David Hyde Pierce, Marg
Helgenberger, Matthew Broderick, Angela Lansbury, Jim Parsons, Joel Grey,
Patrick Wilson, and Robert Morse.
The 2011 Tony Awards will also will reassemble an all-star cast of the New
York Philharmonic's April 2011 limited run of Company for the
telecast on CBS. This once-in-a-lifetime assembly of talent will perform
LIVE exclusively at the Tony Awards on Sunday, June 12th. The performance will
include: Stephen Colbert, Jon Cryer, Katie Finneran, Neil Patrick Harris,
Christina Hendricks, Aaron Lazar, Patti LuPone, Jill Paice, Martha Plimpton,
Anika Noni Rose, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Jim Walton and Chryssie
Whitehead.
