Don't believe those lies you are told about "Wait until you retire, you'll have so much time to do everything you want." IT IS A LIE!!
You will meet yourself coming and going wondering how you got everything
done while you were working. Don't get me wrong as I love being retired
but it seems I have a million things on my plate and don't have enough
time to get them all done!

A
week ago, as I do every Spring, I got some flower seeds and spent last
Sunday planting them. There is something about Mother Nature at work
that always has fascinated me and I try to bring her into my apartment
whenever, however I can. :O) I decided to follow them growing by taking pictures as they grow. The first pictures were taken March 20.

Whereas
I use to go to doctors every 4-6 weeks I decided last year that once a
year was enough for specialists and that I would only go more if
needed. Last week I made appointments with the dentist, podiatrist, optometrist,
urologist, cardiologist, pulmonary doctor, nose, ear and throat doctor,
dermatologist and vascular surgeon all in June except for latter who
couldn't take me until July. In May I'm going to my primary doctor to
get a complete blood work up so I can bring a copy to each of the
doctors saving time and money not to forget less needles! Ah there goes
some more of my retirement time!

For
those who know me you may not believe this but I, me, myself covered
these shelves---YES, ME. For those who don't know me I am the type of
guy who bangs a nail in the wall and the whole place falls down! Okay,
don't look too close or you might see some seams that don't match.

I
don't usually talk politics but I came across this and my jaw dropped.
Where is the Tea Party, or the others concerned about waste, when
Congress can get away with while wanting to make cuts that will hurt
children?
"The
stopgap spending bill Congress passed retained a leftover provision
from the 2010 budget. The so called 'Shelby provision'--U.S. Sen.
Richard Shelby, R-Ala, inserted it--forcing NASA to waste $1.4 mil A DAY
on its defunct Constellation moon program. It is expected to cost
roughly $29 mil during the 3 week budget extension through April 8. It has already cost the agency $250 mil since Oct. 1!"
