People are frightened of what they don't know or understand, it has been that way in life for a lot longer then I have been here..and it will still be here long after I am gone. Education, understanding, and compassion are the tools we need to combat the ignorance, hate, and hostility that is running rampant in today's society.

The war was over and didn't need him anymore--happened after every war.

Things are probably somewhat different in the military now, but I'm not sure that they are better - it's hard to keep track of the current stance.

With all the talk and reports on sexual harassment in the military you really have to do research to find out that a lot is male on male rape!
