On the positive side (and I NEVER thought I would be writing this) I did some eating and gained a couple of pounds. I did have some, not much, energy yesterday and today but no where near what I have been used to BEFORE November 12.


Yesterday I had an appointment with an Infectious Diseases professional. She told me I would probably be taking a anti-bacteria pill every day the rest of my life and that right now I haven't been on the IV series long enough to see if it has cleared up the 'bad' blood or if it has affected the aorta valve which is the main concern. I go to see the cardiologist next Tuesday and her on Wednesday and then they should have some answers for me.


Meanwhile she wants to arrange to have a nurse see me every day and change the dressing on the toe wound that started the whole infection but no one showed today.


For the first time in awhile Allen and I did our Thursday routine: The Pantry, The Dollar Tree, Winn Dixie and we had lunch at the Jalisco--I was beat by the time I got home and took a 2 hour 'nap'!! And I don't have any energy now but we are planning to go to The Gateway Movie Theatre to see "Parallel Mothers" tomorrow (hope I don't fall asleep watching the movie) then to Big Louie's for a pizza, to CVS to pick up prescriptions and then home to rest all weekend.


I am tired of being tired and, more disturbing, not getting answers from doctors of what to expect but I am hoping I will get some answers this Tuesday and Wednesday!! And I won't get into what happens IF.............
