HOT! HOT! HOT!

No I am not talking about me (even if I am) but the weather in South Florida. As much as we expect it the fact that it is hot doesn't help. Today we had a 'feel like' temperature of 105 degrees!!

THE LIGHTS DIM

 
Nine days after she died Broadway will dim all the theatre lights on
Broadway at 8 PM tomorrow evening honoring Patricia Neal. She was the
first actress to win a Tony Award. One of her best performance, in
movies, was in the film, "A Face In The Crowd".

MUST SEE TELEVISION

Check
your TV guide but be sure not to miss the live television showing from
the Broadway stage of the big hit revival of "South Pacific." It will be
on PBS and it most cities it will eb on Wednesday at 8 PM!

THAT SPECIAL TEACHER 

'Solitude', a blogger at
mybloggers, posted a story about teachers being protected from lawsuits by
parents and, as always, as soon as I see the word 'teacher' I think of
Mrs. Levy. Of all my teachers she was one of the two I remember and this
goes back to sixth grade when I was 11 years old. She taught me the
lesson to always be myself, which took me another 20 years to learn!!,
but more important she told me I was special and made me believe it.

  Patrick Harris and his man, David Burtka, recently announced that
  come October they will be parents of bouncing twins. A  moment of cattiness. He
  made the announcement on his Twitter feed and then requested privacy from the
  press. If you  want anonymity, maybe Twitter missives should be avoided. Anyway,
  congrats to both!
