Food, Food, Food!

Being a food lover I am always trying new items but, in most cases, I don't repeat them as they aren't better or different than what I already have or eat. When I find an item I like I usually stock up on it so I won't/don't run out. Every Thursday I go shopping and a main place for canned and frozen foods is the Dollar Tree where I get about a half a dozen items I like and consume between Friday and Wednesday from canned mushrooms to frozen veggies. I got home last week to find an email from Dollar Tree saying something about a mistake and therefore for only two days, all shipping would be a dollar. It had nothing to do with Black Friday and it was a one time deal. I ordered a case--12 jars--of mushrooms and a case--12 jars--of picante sauce and it all came to $25. I was going to get some more items but I just didn't have the money to put out without charging and I've been a 'good' boy about that for 10 years now so for 2 weeks I know I have mushrooms and piccante sauce!

We do have a frozen food section in our dollar tree. I am very fond of getting nice hard back novels that didn't sell well for a dollar. We also have herbs and spices and I get a large amount of bay leaves for a dollar. And a note to crafters, my dollar tree has glitter nail polish
which is great for using on crafts. Better than the sprinkle on kind. I love a bargain.

I am also a dollar tree shopper and find the same brands there I am used to seeing in the supermarket. One of the best bargains is the giant cans of peaches and apple pie filling. Explore your dollar store, John!!

Wow! Food from a dollar store. Either you like Chinezium or you lived long by living dangerously!

They are the EXACT same items sold in supermarkets for $2-3 more--many are name brands like a 10 ounce bag of PICTSWEET FARMS steam'ables mixed vegetables for $1 while $1.75 in supermarket--just go to PICTSWEETFARMS.COM---for a kid you are pretty cynical!!!
