As you get experience, you will get better. We have so many squirrels in my neighborhood and they will start moving away from the car and then change their minds and run right into where I'm driving. You would not believe how many times I have slammed on brakes to keep from hitting one of them. Probably the dummiest thing I've done was mess up the spoiler on my car....my daughter-in-law called me crying hysterically one day because her kitten had died and I turned to sharp going out of my driveway and messed up the spoiler when I ran over the curb. I have been in two wrecks but both were the other persons fault, thank goodness.

Honesty and integrity might get you elected but not re-elected. Anyone with those two qualities find out quickly they don't fit in the Washington mold and refuse to run again. That's why liars and crooks get re-elected...they know how to use the system to help themselves and to hell with Joe Doe "his employer".

I am with you Randy. I was raised in the South where "Ya'll come on in" is the standard phrase but I never visit anyone without calling first except my sister. If she stops by and I'm cleaning or doing dishes she just pitches in and helps and I do the same with her. However, if someone stopped by with fresh corn and watermelon, I believe I would just have to give him/her a great big kiss and thank you!

I have never heard that feral cats do not meow. I have converted four (the momma and her three boys) but it took me nearly two years before they liked being touched and held. When I think back, they used to hiss and cower but I don't remember them meowing. They are very vocal now, especially one of the males, but they still do not like being inside for very long. They will come in to eat and want to go right back out. I don't think I could volunteer 'cause I would bring them all home with me and my husband would move out!

I agree with Fredo, Randy. Be very careful with this infection. If the tiny hairs in the ear or nerve cells are damaged you can develop tinnitus or Menieres. My husband has both and it is a nightmare for him. Good luck with it.

I agree with Kristy; it's better to break it off now than go through a divorce later. That would be a lot harder on both of you and the kids. (((HUGS)))

Like Kris, I have a black thumb. My two boys used to tease me about being the only person they knew who could kill a plastic plant. Your day lilies are just gorgeous!

What we did to the Indians was unbelievable. The black race thinks they have been so discriminated against but so have the Indians even more so. The difference between the two is the blacks had a leader like Martin Luther King to rally for them and the Indians have not had a leader like that.

Fortunately mulligans are allowed in my life! If not for a mulligan I would be divorced and not still married to my husband for 47 years. We both made some stupid mistakes during our marriage which resulted in a seperation of 2 years. That was 18 years ago and it was the right decision for us (I don't recommend it for everyone). We have two wonderful sons, ages 46 & 41. The only thing I regret is that I did not spend more time with my parents in their later years and now it's to late.
