Don't go to movie theaters now a days because my husband can't tolerate the loud sound due to tinnitus so will wait for it to come out and rent it. The reviews I've seen have been positive so am looking forward to seeing it. Tell Mike Happy Birthday for me.
I don't think there was anything in our local newspaper about JFK assassination. My boss closed the office the day of the funeral and I watched it on TV like millions of others. Very sad day.
I am sorry you lost your house but your attitude toward this misfortune is very refreshing. My oldest son who lives in Idaho lost his house due to the economy but has managed to keep an upbeat attitude about his misfortune also. I am really sorry you lost your Dad...it is so hard to lose a parent. Even though I have my own family there is still an empty space in my heart for my Mother and Daddy.
Wow! That is some ferry, the hot chocolate and warm cinnamon buns sounds yummy. I have loved reading about your visit from Marge's point of view; it will be fun to read about the visit from your point of view. Looking forward to the next post.
So many of the football games were nail biters! The Boise State game did not end until after 3:00 am so needless to say I read the outcome in the paper. Georgia beat Georgia Tech...Go Dawgs! Good luck, I hope everything goes well with Ted's doctor appoint and the MRI. Got my fingers crossed!
Those are so funny; my favorite is the Bill Clinton one.
I agree with you concerning "Last of the Mohicans". That is a wonderful movie. I've watched it several times and never tire of it.
Take lots of pictures on your trip, have a great time...look forward to hearing from you when you get back.
Brrr, it looks cold. That is a humongous stack of wood, Fredo. Get a nice cozy fire going and stay warm.
I am so sorry. The loss of any ones pet brings me to tears. I have been there and I understand your deep sorrow.
Wow, sounds like a scary ride with your Dad. I don't drive at night anymore due to my poor vision. I have the beginnings of cataracts and the lights drive me nuts. I don't envy you when you finally have to take the keys from him. That's tough.
How cool that Michael was able to visit you! I really enjoyed the pictures. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Yum, all that food looks delicious. Congratulations on winning the $90; you came out ahead at the end of the day and that's what it's all about. Looks like everybody had a great time.
