Bless your heart, I am sooo sorry. Our pets become our children and it is so difficult when they have to leave us. I still grieve over my pit bull, Ceasar, who had to be put down nine years ago due to congestive heart failure. I understand how you feel. Please know you and Shawny are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope the vet will be able to help.
I know you are glad to have the computer back. I can't believe how dependent I am on mine now when I used to be scared to death of it. Like you, Google is my God; I use it to research everything. Some of the manufacturers I deal with at work use Firefox but I don't care for it so I have never used it on my computer at home. Anyone who hacks into someone elses computer has way to much time on their hands. Glad you are back...we missed you.
There were only four of us at my home for Thanksgiving and like you I fixed way more food than normal so we will be having leftovers probably through the weekend. That will be ok 'cause it's just a good or better left over. Concerning your brother and SIL, after a while the negativity gets old and I would just choose to stay away from it if it were me. I think starting something new for you and your girls is a great idea. Depending on their ages, you could make several suggestions and see if they have a preference. Starting a tradition would be special and something to which they can look forward.
Mine are so soft they break off before they get to a stage where I can bite them. Makes my teeth hurt just to think about biting fingernails. YUCK! My hubbys nails are very hard so he uses clippers and files the sharp edges with a nail file.
What a great idea! I never thought about freezing the Kong with the treats inside. My does looovve their Kongs. Happy Thanksgiving!

Don't fret over it Randy. When the time feels right to you, it will happen. Jon has a very good idea about leaving something behind but it has to be something that she will automatically know belongs to you and not someone else. I understand about the rejection feeling because I suffer from it also. Have faith it will work out.
