To all those who like me will spend this day relatively alone, Happy Thanksgiving. Take heart in the fact that as we mature we earn more wisdom about our circumstances and why we are alone on holidays. I do have my five cats and my 92-year-old Mom who lives in a Senior care center, and I always make sure they are able to enjoy a day like this. Mom and I will go to a restaurant buffet at 11:45. My cats' bellies are full and the house is warm and dry. Those facts are enough for me, along with the memories of Thanksgivings past, when I set the table for friends and family many times. Think only in the present, watch a football game, read something you've been putting off for years, or just make a few phone calls. We are survivors. Be thankful for that.
Bless you. Have a good day.
