Have fun in Vegas. I know about the expense of changing a flight. My husband and I flew to Idaho in October and I had to change the flight dates...cost me $200 per ticket to make the change. Boy, was I upset.

I love my morning newspaper but I would not get up that early to deliver any ones paper. The carrier I have now is the best one I have ever had. He rides in his car and is very careful where he throws it. He can't possibly make enough from his paper route to pay for the wear and tear on his car..it is a thankless job.
No more than I fly, I would opt for the scanner.
