For Deb & Caylee

This is a Native American (Hopi) Prayer that brings me comfort in times of despair and I hope it will bring you some peace. God bless you and your family.

I give you this one thought to keep,
I am with you still--I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone, I am with you
still--in each new dawn.

Thank you for sharing. The Celtic poems are alike. And of note a man we know in upper state NY, has talked about the Gallic/Celtic connections with the Original folks here in the Northwest.

We never know how strong we are until we are tested but you and your family have had more than your share of sorrow.
