48!

Wow, today is my 48th wedding anniversary. How did we ever make it this far? We struggled through marriage, we struggled through parenting and even struggled through a two year separation but through it all we respected and loved each other.

Happy anniversary to my loving husband, Gene.

Looking forward to our 50th!

Thank you. This day and time it really is something of which to be proud. My oldest son who is 47 has been married three times. I think the younger generation just don't want to struggle through the bad times so they give up. They just don't understand the bad times are what make the good times priceless.

Thanks Randy! My husband gave me an iMAC which caught me completely off guard. Since he has been talking about retiring I was not expecting a gift. I thought I knew a little about computers but this is like a foreign language; I'm learning all over again. BTW, I did plant my tomato plants up to the first set of leaves...they are looking very healthy.

Happy anniversary--even if I added up my partners it wouldn't come to 18 let alone 48!! My brother and sister-in-law will be celebrating their 58th at the end of this month--it is mind boggling to me that people could live together so long!
