How I Spent My Friday

I went on an amazing field trip with my daughter to a bird sanctuary and a place called "Wild acres."

The hike was so beautiful and we saw so many ducks, geese, birds and my favorite, frogs!  The marsh and trees were so beautiful and the rain just made it more wonderful.  Oregon is so beautiful!  I am so lucky.
Wild acres is an animal refuge that held 2 siberian tigers, a wolf, a bob cat, peacocks, a donkey, and giant rabbits.  It is a man's home on acreage of course and the view from his home was beautiful.

The man owns 2 siberian tigers with the hope to mate them in the future.  They are so beautiful.  We were so close to them and I was able to pet the baby.  She is 9 months old and her name is Sasha.

It really was so amazing to see them so close.  My daughter got to hang with a bob cat for a few minutes but "Smokey"  got a little feisty so they stopped.  My daughter said..."I'm good with that."

As you can see, she was indeed good with that and so was I.  Tempermental cats!
Nature is an amazingly wonderful thing!

Nature is my source for strength, when the world seems to weird, I go out back and sit with the trees, and watch our "wild life"

Oh gawd, your braver than me patting those tigers. I went to a safari park a few years ago, saw a loose tiger and wet myself - NEVER AGAIN
I'm glad you enjoyed your day out
