It is finally over! I am very relieved. The end of this job era is finally over. It is so sad to see a company of doctors who once cared for their employees end like this. They really did seem to care about their employees. "Seemed" would be the key word there. Unbelievable how it all ended. We all received legal notices telling us we can not talk about or talk to anyone one at the hospital about "said" company and we can not contact "said" company or anyone at "said" company without making an appointment with their attorney first. After so many years of loyalty, hard work and efforts made by all of us, it comes down to this. The locks were changed and we were told that today would be our last day. It was so emotional and we all cried. The manager of "said" company even came in and took cpt code books from one of my co worker's desks without asking. The insensitivity of these people is unbelievable. ARRGGG!

Whew.. now that I am done with that, I feel much better. Tomorrow is a new day and I have an invitation for breakfast and a catch up time with my friend. I miss her very much!
My daughter has a follow up on her asthma and I have a meeting at 5:30 to discuss the new business opportunity that may come our way. Busy day... just the way I like it!
The kids went with their Dad tonight and I went to my swim aerobics class. My back is still hurting so I wasn't able to work as hard as usual but it's better than not doing anything. It was just what the doctor ordered after an emotional day! I love that they get to spend some time with him mid week. It was nice to see him and I am proud of us for being able to talk to one another in a polite manner. I do miss him but I would rather us be great parents than be mad at one another. I am relieved that the hurt and anger are subsiding. It is still early in the divorce process so who knows how long it will last. I need to call my attorney tomorrow and submit my counter offers.
