While I wait for the pipes to unfreeze here on New Year's Day, I'm ironically spending the holiday the same way as I did in 1997.

1) Marriages end and life goes on...
2) Sometimes things just are the way they are and we must just accept these things and find a way so that they don't drive us nuts
3) Even when you're sure you're doing what is best, it can still hurt like hell.
