I found out that a lot can be learned about a person from the contents of their night table.

Mine by the way is teensy weensy or I would have lots more things on it. For this reason I'm also including the things I have surrounding my night stand on the floor because they technically should be on/ in something (if I only had the room)!

1. a radio alarm clock (it's G's)

2. usually an empty glass of some sort (from my many waters and diet sodas I drink while relaxing)

3. a small ceramic crock with a brown wooden top and a pig painted on it (it used to be my sister's and now I hide private, me stuff in it)

4. a candle (I have candles everywhere! Can't get enough of them. My newest thing has been white candles for the healing power of white light)

**If I may send out a prayer or healing request for G and I. We're both scared that we may lose the best thing we've ever had.))0(( Thank you

5. 2 Books: a funny one my sister lent me by E Entertainment's Chelsea Handler. I just finished it. It was totally crazy and off color and often times I smiled and said "Oh no, she didn't just say that!" And of course...yes she did! LOL

The other one a spiritual book I'm reading off G's shelf by Max Lucado. I think it's the 5th of his books that I've read and there is just something about the way he weaves his story and also tells the story of Jesus and the Bible that soothes and moves me. I've actually been wanting to write a couple of quotes that have struck me from this book.

**Let me find the paper....it's somewhere here on or in this little nightstand.

Wow I almost threw it away in the dollar store plastic bag (serving as my night stand garbage!)

"Funny how the weary are those most reluctant to rest."

"Extravagant, risky, chance-taking love..."

"Pain is ignored and with time the true self is forgotten."

5. 3 bookmarks (and yet I seem to always be using one of my many pieces of paper close by. One is just a paper one from the used book store G and I like to go to. The next one is an awesome silver, bone shaped, metallic bookmark. On it is engraved "The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue." It has a blue ribbon and a sliver and plue paw, charm hanging from it. G brought this home for me one night when he'd gone to the pet store for something. He's always thinking of me and bringing me small, thoughtful gifts. The third his mother made me and is also a pretty metallic stem and the other side is pink and white beads with the breast cancer survivor charm on it. G's mother along with my grandmother are both survivors.

6. My diary: I've been doing much more diary writing and even doodling lately than blogging. 2 markers and a pen.

7. Love letters from G. One that he left in my car one morning and the other written not long ago is "101 Reasons I love Gwen"

8. Random stuff there out of pure lazyness! nail file, nail clippers, butterfly hair clip, check stub, lots of random papers!
