Hives!

For about a week, I've been suspecting that I was getting another outbreak of Shingles. But the funny thing was that it never seems to bother me during the day. Finally tonight, I realized they couldn't be shingles because number 1 they come and go (or at least fade) and number two- they've moved from my stomach to my lower back and now all on the back of my neck (Shingles only runs in a band).

So guys, I guess I'm getting hives at night! I haven't changed meds or soaps or anything like that. So I believe this may leave hives as just another symptom that my life is spinning out of control.

Yet really, I feel like I'm doing pretty well. Things at home have been stressful and changes have been like tornadoes (don't worry, G and I are fine). But I thought that since I've been productive at work, not missing any days, keeping up with the house, dogs, kids ... that I was doing well.

My sister has always got hives, for as long as I can remember back when she was a little girl. We thought she was allergic to ketchup and pet hair and nowadays she thinks she gets hives as a release of stress or anxiety. Maybe this is it. Sometimes our bodies take charge when we're not dealing things. Sometimes we dream and conquer our demons we're too afraid to fight during the day. Sometimes our bodies shut down and we just need sleep. And sometimes...we get hives.
