Uneventful

that's how I like life, uneventful! What a switch for me to not be running in circles, planning and worrying! I have had the utilities turned off at the old house. we finished up there friday night. It was sad, saying goodbye to my first home. So many good memories.
I am off work today but as usual have alot to do. I have to clean our old stove, we are giving it to hubby's parents. I have most of it done, then I will give them a call that they can come get it. I still have to call the school, have not received word on Kota's new bus. Grrrr! But Kota said on Friday they called him to the office and asked what his new bus number was. Kota told them, I would tell you if I knew! hehehe
Yesterday was a madhouse at walmart and I think all the strange people came out to shop. I had such a headache all day though. Not fun! At lunch time hubby and kota came to visit me, I love that! And I came home to a wonderful home cooked meal by Hubby! He even did all the dishes afterward. We used to have a rule, whoever cooks the other person cleans up.
Unfortunately I have to go to walmart today to do some grocery shopping. I also have to look for some kind of shelving unit for the bathroom. Our bathroom is tiny but there is a space for shelving and we need it. If only for all my beauty supplies. LOL I just have to find the measuring tape to measure how big the space is. Kota loves playing with the measuring tape.
I was in bed by 8 last night, I have just been tuckered out lately! But I am really sleeping well, for the first time in years! We are getting settled into new routines here and life just seems to be moving along quite nicely. I have some frustrations at work, who doesn't? but I just keep telling myself, this is just a job not my whole life. *grins*
Our home life is good, who can ask for more? Oh yeah, this thursday is the belt ceremony for TKD. I have to bring a covered dish as my friend John told me. I told him ok I will bring one, do I have to put something in it?? Not sure what I will make, maybe that veggie pizza thing. Since people know I am a mom I am expected to actually make something. LOL I don't mind, I like baking and cooking. I told John he better make something too, no excuses for being a single guy!
OK, back to cleaning the stove.

I'm so happy to hear that everything is going so great for you folks! You know, on the days when I really don't want to go to work and would rather stay home...I just keep reminding myself that I have a job and there are hundreds out there that do not.

That was so cool that your husband cooked dinner for you and did the dishes too! Lucky you!

It sounds like Kota's new school year is going so much better than last year. I am so glad. Last year seemed so frustrating.
I think it is so nice of you to bring something to the belt ceremony with your busy schedule.

That's priceless. The school asked him which was his bus.

Hubby does everything. He's well trained

The potluck at our daughter's school was like that. We're all parents bringing stuff, but there were a lot of take-out, deli sort of plastic containers around. It's harder to prep something on a weekday evening. Your ceremony is on a Thurs. That could be your excuse

Like they say- No news is good newsI also like uneventfulness. Makes life so much smoother and stress free. I'm glad things are going so well for ya. I wanna come help you decorate. I'm sure we could find some kool stuff at the dollar store and we could just get creative with it. Love ya

Wow you are a busy lady! Sounds like things are going well though. How does Kota get to and from school if he doesn't know his bus number?
Enjoy your day!

Did you guyz get lashed by the ocean storms of recent days? A friend in Nova Scotia emailed me this morning that they had hurricane warnings but the storm was more like a gale when it hit.
