Not sure who to thank for being the featured mybloggers blogger, eddie? Anyway it was a nice surprise to wake up too. And the people here are why I will probably continue blogging.
So I am a little better today. I woke up at 5 instead of 4 this morning. And its 62 degrees already! They are calling for 75 with thunder storms! Is this going to be an early spring? Oh how I hope so. The birds were all over the yard this morning, chirping and singing.
And guess what? Irresponsible pet owner that I am, we have more kittens. UGH! This batch will go to the SPCA though. And I have to ask them about low cast spaying/neutering programs. That is why the other kittens were not fixed. Poor Miss Kitty, a second batch of kids to contend with. I watched as she gave birth yesterday, it was amazing. so one more thing to think about, paying for the cats to be spayed/neutered. As miss kitty was a stray we took in I think there should be a free program for people like me. lol Our other kittens are 9 months old.
there is another sad anniversary coming up. My sheba passed away last year on Feb 11th. She was my elkhound for those of you who don't know. But she was also my best friend. We had a close bond the two of us and I still miss her.
I still have barely a voice today but no headache at the moment. Maybe I can get some things done around here. Hubby made dinner last night but when he cooks it does not include dish washing. lol I can't complain, he knew I wasn't feeling well and jumped right in to make dinner when he got home.
In my about me I simply put I am quite fantastic. And most days that is how I feel. I am getting my optimism back slowly. I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
thanks again for making me smile for being featured!
