To Kick or Not to Kick

All day I have been debating with myself about going to tae kwan do tonight. ugh! I will go, of that you can be sure. I have to take kota anyway. I doubt if I will do all 4 nights as kota does. In the beginning I think I will go with two classes a week. At least until I get more used to it.
I had to run out today to the grocery store. I noticed there seemed to be more traffic on my road. Not a good sign. Yep, I got to the highway and the northbound side is backed up as far as the eye can see. I had to cross to the southbound side so I thought it would be fairly easy as they were stopped. I had my turn signal on to turn left so no one thought I was trying to jump in line. Still people would not leave a gap for me. So I just started across. I mean they were going less than 5 mph! Stupid tourists! They should have gone home yesterday. Coming home I took a different route to avoid sitting in traffic.
Might take a short nap before its time to go to class. lol

I hate when people won't even let you in, like they're going to loose something by extending a little kindness... Uggggggg

I think if it were me I would take a bit slower pace at first.

I think you're right that a four-day schedule like Kota's might be too much as a beginner. But a couple times a week would be good, don't you think? Maybe with two or three days rest between classes? Are your muscles very sore?

It might be better to work into the routine. You don't want to hurt yourself!

Tourist are only good for one thing, the economy.I hate rude drivers but just deal with it.With road rage it's better to just let them cut you off, especially in South Florida.Hope you get some kicking in tonight.Laurie

What else helps, is if you really feel like not taking part, take your Gi with you anyway and leave it n the car, sometimes you feel alright when your there. You can always change your mind and change later.

Tell you what, there must be something in the weather because I didn't feel up to training tonight. I did it though but still didn't feel any better for doing it, the only thing I gained was not having to feel guilty cause I didn't which has happened in to past. I focussed on myself, fought my way through regardless, I didn't let myself give up. Fight the fatigue unless you feel like passing out. Thats what I do. Sometimes aswell I have done half a class then asked to leave, but I know I tried, give my all.
