I am sitting here enjoying the use of it. I could have
used the laptop but I really don't like it because it is not
comfortable for me.

This afternoon, I made brownies to take to a deadly dull
neighborhood watch meeting. My friend Phyllis always puts
the pressure on trying to get me to go. It is a dinner
meeting and taking place 3 blocks from my house. My working
life had enough inane meetings to sour me on them for life.

I have read many, many good books since I have been separated
from Sassy. That is my computer's name. It has taken on
a personality all it's own. It made me open those terrible
e mails so it could go to the hospital and rest. At least
that is what I tell Ted so he won't fuss about the repair
bill.

I have missed all of you but I caught up with Laura and
Sue on the phone. Sue has really made a remarkable
recovery and can do everything from her wheel chair now except drive. She is still fighting with Zee. I am happy
to know that Laura had a luxurious weekend. She deserved
it.

My sister is coming up tomorrow and we are going shopping
for navy blue shoes for her. Her grandson is getting married. I am looking forward to it.

Ted has a surgical procedure on Thursday so my week is
full. It is out patient but he has to stay down for four
hours.
