Sunday Movie

Ted and I love to go to the movies on Sunday afternoon.
It is hard to find a really good one anymore but today, we
saw a winner!

It was The Big Wedding with an all star cast that we could
relate to. Would you believe all our old favorites, Robert
DeNiro, Susan Sarandon, Diane Keaton and a host of other
beautiful young people. It was really funny and
made you leave feeling good.

Today has been a good day. I got a lot of things done, bills
paid, some cleaning and Henry will be here to manicure the
lawn tomorrow.

Last night I watched Lincoln with Bobby and Ellie and Bobby
walked me home. I need to get more walking done so I won't
get out of breath. We have been planning to walk in the
evening but this was the first time we actually got it done.
We have to lose our couch potato ways.

I am sorry to say that I found Lincoln boring. The makeup
was good. It seemed tedious to me and slow moving and I
am a history buff.

I have been out of breath a lot lately too, I am hoping it's baby related, but I haven't been working out AT ALL so I am not sure. Glad you enjoyed the movie, sounds like it was good!

Ed and I don't do well physically sitting for a couple of hours in a movie house. So we rely on movies on TV and if we ever get Netflix up and running, we may even see something current. Glad you had a nice time. I am surprised Lincoln didn't hold up for you. I haven't seen it but do want to.

I kind of miss Blockbuster, even if it was less convenient. For one thing, you don't have to be a techie to get a movie. Ed has to do one more thing before Netflix can be used here. He'll never get to that.

The book by Riley was much better than the movie.I did not care for it also.
But did enjoy the book as he covered a lot of Lincoln history which I love.
The movie left out interesting part of his life.

The movie seemed tedious to me and I am a lover of history. The stories
were dull and lifeless. See you Memorial Day!

Walking is good! Donna is still in the planning stage and I don't push the issue since I spend enough time on my feet outside anyway. Looks like it's getting warm down your way. Not bad for going out early, I suppose.

You know what they say, Only Mad dogs and English men go out in the midday
sun. But of course 80 degrees is very pleasant to me.

You remind this home movie buff how fun it is to go out to the movies in a theater. Glad you and Ted enjoyed yourselves!

It is fun to go out to a movie once in awhile. It must be the smell of
popcorn and the other people.
