When we relate to strangers and people on the street in a
kind and friendly way, there is no malice and no attention
to their color or there differences. I can't understand
why our so called leaders must be always hostile and
confrontational like our present President and his minions.

I have made a delightful new friend I think she is Syrian
and she operates our neighborhood cleaning establishment.
We laugh together, share confidences and enjoy visiting.
She doesn't hate me for being white and I enjoy looking at
her beautiful brown eyes and creamy tan skin. We both
enjoy sharing ideas and culture. It doesn't matter if we
worship differently, eat differently or have varying customs.

Hate makes us all poor and wretched beings. I can't like
anything about our present political situations but I am
trying to just be confident that the hate mongers will reap
the whirlwind while doing all I can to put obstacles in
their path.
